How we look after your information.
The short version: we collect as little as we can, use it only to talk to you and do the work, and never sell it.

Who we are
Taika is an AI and automation business run by Saku Koskinen, at Level 1, 41-43 Stewart St, Richmond VIC 3121, Australia. ABN 74 971 037 921. In this policy, "we" and "us" means Taika. You can reach us any time at [email protected].
We follow the Australian Privacy Principles in how we handle personal information.
What we collect
- When you contact us: your name, email, business name and phone number if you give them, which topic you picked and your message. If you came from our AI readiness assessment, the snapshot you built is included too.
- When you use the AI snapshot: the website address or description you enter, and anything you add about your week. We read the public pages of that website and send the text, with your description, to Anthropic's Claude service to write the snapshot. We keep the snapshot for up to 24 hours. If you book a call, we also collect your name, email and phone number if you give it, and send the snapshot to our inbox so we can prepare.
- When you email or talk to us: whatever you choose to share, so we can reply and keep a record of what we've agreed.
- When you use this website: Google Analytics records which pages are visited, roughly where visitors are (country and city), the device and browser, and how people arrived. It uses cookies to tell visits apart. We don't use it to identify you.
- Security checks: our contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a person, not a bot, is sending it. Cloudflare also hosts this site and processes basic connection details, such as IP addresses, to keep it fast and secure.
We don't ask for sensitive information, and we'd rather you didn't send it.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and book a time to talk.
- To quote for, deliver and look after work you've asked us to do.
- To understand which pages are useful, so we can improve the site.
- To keep the site and our systems secure.
We won't add you to a mailing list or send you marketing unless you've said yes, and every marketing email will have an easy way to unsubscribe. We never sell or rent personal information.
Who we share it with
Only the services we need to run the business:
- Cloudflare hosts this website, checks the contact form for spam and forwards email to us.
- Google provides Google Analytics.
- Our email provider stores the emails and enquiries we receive.
- Anthropic provides the Claude AI service that writes AI snapshots from the website text and description you give us.
Some of these providers store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States. We choose established providers with strong security, and we don't share your information with anyone else unless the law requires it.
Your business data, when we work together
When we set up AI or automation for your business, it's built in your own accounts. Your customer and business information stays in the tools you already use, and we only access what each job needs. Access is removed when you ask, or when we stop working together.
We don't put your customers' information into free public AI tools, and a person approves anything that goes to your customers. We'll tell you which services a job uses before it goes live. More detail is on our straight answers page.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and emails while we're in contact and for a reasonable time afterwards, so we have a record of what was discussed. Some records, such as invoices, we must keep for longer by law. Ask us and we'll delete anything we don't need to keep.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses Google Analytics cookies to measure visits. You can block cookies in your browser settings, or use Google's opt-out add-on. The site works the same either way.
Keeping it secure
This site only uses encrypted connections, and we give each person and tool only the access it needs. If a breach ever affected your information in a way likely to cause serious harm, we'd tell you and do what the law requires.
Seeing or correcting your information
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and we'll reply within 30 days, usually much sooner.
Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, tell us first and we'll try to put it right. If you're still not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
